Gracie, a beloved member of LBR's family and our mascot, went to the rainbow bridge on Thursday, August 9, 2007.
She joined LBR in 2005 and was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy soon thereafter. Thanks to the endless love and devotion given to her by her owners, Lori and Daniel McClain, Gracie was able to live a carefree, wonderful life.
In Gracie's last days with us, she ran in her sleep - as if anticipating the running and playing she would do at the bridge with all of the boxer babies that went before her. Her mom Lori said that she hadn't seen Gracie do that in a very, very long time.
Thank you Gracie for all the wonderful lessons of patience, determination and caring that you've taught all that have had a chance to meet you.
We'll miss you!

If you aren't able to adopt at this time, please consider making a much needed, tax-deductible donation to Legacy Boxer Rescue by clicking here.
Do you want to make a difference in the life of a needy boxer? Well now you can! You can sponsor one of our rescue boxers and help him/her get the fresh start they deserve!
Every cent of your generous donation will go toward the boxer’s vet care, food and necessities. Our adoption fees and fundraisers do not cover the costs of the many dogs in our program.
Please help LBR offset these costs and sponsor a boxer today!
