Other Info :
Bosley is approximately 2 years old. Bosley has a big head, big feet, and a long tongue. He has soft fawn fur, a cute black face and a very pronounced underbite. He is a very muscular dog, and just about at the right weight now.
Bosley is very affectionate and loves to have his ears massaged. He also likes to curl up around our legs and get petted. Bosley has a medium play drive and likes having his toys tossed around in the morning and chasing them if not thrown too far. Bosley does not steal or chew household items or destroy the bedding in his crate. He walks well on a leash only pulling a little, and is non-reactive to people, other dogs, vehicles, or noises during the day. At night he is more alert and will bark some if he sees people or other dogs. He will chase rabbits but ignores the squirrels in our yard. We have not seen any cats and do not know how he will react to them. Bosley is very light on his feet and has a nice spring in his step and looks good running around the yard. Bosley is also great riding in the car, and we have taken him for many car rides.
Bosley is house trained and will go out through the pet door on his own. He is learning basic commands. He is also crate trained. Bosley needs to be bribed with a cookie to get into the crate. Bosley does not jump on furniture but he does like to put his front paws on us when we are sitting so that he can get petted.
Bosley has been good with us and is friendly with people, both adults and children whom he meets in the neighborhood. We have introduced Bosley to our dog, Bullet and they are great friends. They truly get along great. Bosley is pretty chill and does not react when the other dogs are in the same room, when he is in his crate.
We think that Bosley would be best in a home with either no children or with older children. He might do well with another dog, but it would depend on the dog. He is a very affectionate dog and he is looking for his forever home.
Bosley just completed some medical treatments but will be ready for adoption very soon.
