Hi! My name is Fletcher! I am still relatively new to Legacy Boxer Rescue and my foster family is getting to know me. I am housetrained, crate trained, ride nicely in the car, and I love other dogs. I have not displayed any food or toy aggression since I have been in my foster home. I am great on the leash and walk perfectly without pulling. I also love to play with toys, and really enjoy playing fetch! I will return the ball to you and ask you to throw it again every time. My foster mom calls me a velcro dog. I don't panic or feel anxious when I am not with my people, but I definitely like to follow the people in the house around constantly. I currently know sit, shake and stay. I am very food motivated, so my foster mom is sure that I could learn more tricks very easily! I really enjoy water too. I like to lay on the ledge of the pool and also love to play in the sprinkler when it is going.
I am waiting to see the behaviorist that Legacy Boxer Rescue works with right now. I have had some issues with getting in and out of the car and was a little scared about the crate when I first got to my foster family and reacted in a way that was not appropriate. We are going to get my quirks diagnosed by Dr. F before I will be able to be adopted. My foster mom will keep my bio updated as we progress and when I am ready to meet families, she will let everyone know. For now, you should check out the other awesome boxers in LBR care, I am sure they would love to meet you!
