Hello everyone! My name is Brooklyn and I am really hoping to find my forever family to spend the holidays with. Don't get me wrong, I love my foster family, but what pup doesn't want their own family for Christmas?
Let me tell you a little about myself. No one really knows for sure, but everyone thinks I'm around 4 years old. I've had puppies in the past but those days are happily behind me now. I also had heart worms, but I'm happy and healthy now. Like my European cousins, I have a nice long tail. I know there are a lot of Boxer lovin folks that think a boxer with a tail is just wrong, but my tail makes my foster mom laugh and laugh. She says you've never seen anything funnier than a kidney-beaning, tail-wagging boxer, and that I would take first place if it were an Olympic event. When I first came to my foster home, I was pretty nervous and scared. I was most happy when I was outside. My foster mom thinks that that may be because I may have lived outside in the past. It didn't take me long to get used to life inside and now I am just as happy in the house as I am outside. Every now and then I have an occasional accident in the house, but I am getting much better at that. My foster mom says it's not entirely my fault. See, they have a dog door here and during the day I can go in and out whenever I want. But at night the door is closed so we stay safe while everyone is sleeping. My foster mom says she forgets that I'm still learning this and she doesn't always make sure that I've gone out recently before she goes to bed. She says if I had a regular routine, I would probably be accident free. I can go in a crate if I have to, but honestly, I really don't need one. I'm over all that puppy chewing and am very well behaved. While there are lots of toys here, I really don't play with any of them. My idea of a good time is laying next to my people and letting them love me. That's what really gets my tail waggin! There is one thing they don't have here that I really like though. Wanna know what that is? Kids! I really like kids. Whenever I see one, I just wag my tail so much and can't wait until they come to love on me. I don't mind other dogs too much. That's a good thing because there are 4 other ones here! I don't really play with them, but I don't fight with them either. If I had my choice I think I would much rather be the only dog in my house. I just want all the loving all to myself. My foster mom says that I have far too much interest in cats and that's not a good thing. So no kitties for me.
All and all, my foster mom says I'm pretty much perfect. I just need a family to give all my love to. So if you're ready for me to come for a visit and get to know me, just give us a shout!
