First of all, thanks for clicking on my cute face, to learn more about me. My name is Posey (after the baseball player, Buster Posey), I am a 3-4 years old female (Yes, I know, I look older, but you know what they say, stress ages you.) I was found as a stray, in pretty rough shape. It is obvious that I have had multiple litters, was left to live in less than desirable conditions, and was not loved the way my foster family tells me I deserve.
I have no idea what toys are, but playing looks like fun (I like to watch, but not really sure what to do). I like food a lot, but I am not very active so my foster parents have had to regulate my food, so I don’t get chubby. I like other dogs and cats, as in I like to cuddle with them. My foster parents tell me I am stubborn. I like to think, I just know what I want. I mean look at my cute face and adorable little tongue, how can you say no?
I like to follow my foster family wherever they go, sometimes they trip over me, but I don’t mean to, I just want to be with them ALL the time. When they have to leave, I am a good girl in my crate. I do get REALLY excited when they come home, and it’s the only time I can get a bit “jumpy” (I am told this is a relative word).
I had to be spayed, have multiple calluses and lump/bumps removed (but good news, NO TUMORS/CANCER). After that day I went home with 12 different incision sites. I then had to go back and have heartworm treatment. I am now on the mend, and my foster family says I will be ready for my forever home by mid-November. I am very grateful for my foster family, but can’t wait until I get to rest my head with my forever family!
