Ladies and Gentlemen, I am The Baron, a 6-year-old handsome bundle of love just waiting for my furever home! Here are my thoughts on why you should let me adopt you.
A Little Bit About Me:
I have lived my whole life with one family which included skin brothers aged 10 and 2 years old so I am good with children. I have a fierce bark but when I meet you and have given you Boxer kisses, I will immediately become your BFF. I go to the door to be let outside when I need to do my business. I love spending time outdoors and laying in the sunshine, but I do want my people close by. I love riding in the car and going on walks. I am, however, working on my leash manners. Have I mentioned to you about my love affair with a blue pig? My foster mom got me one and for hours, I made that silly pig oink almost constantly. Foster mom had to turn up the TV volume because I was so loud with it. She finally had to put my sweet piggy to bed so everyone could get some rest, including me. Oh, and by the way, I am a certified brush hog.
My Best Traits:
I do not get on furniture even though it begins with the letters “f-u-r”. I do not dig in the yard or try to escape. I do not beg at the table while my people are eating. The only human foods that I have been offered are a Blue Bell vanilla ice cream cup and peanut butter, and boy howdy, do I love them both! I eat twice daily and love, love, love ice cubes in my water. I know sit, stay, down, lay down, crate up, go potty, treat, chow time and get some water. Speaking of crates, I was crated for the first 3 years of my life when my family was out for the day. For the last 4 years, I have had the run of the house. My foster mom is currently teaching me Crate 101 because I have exhibited some anxiety when she puts me in it. I am getting better but I really prefer to be with my people. And honestly, why would anyone not want me to be with them?
I am currently recovering from that dreaded experience of losing a body part. I am heart worm positive but will be undergoing treatment for those nasty things so check back with me soon as my foster mom updates my page.
So you see, it is obvious that I am the dog you have been looking for. I am a loving, relaxed and a VERY smart Boxer boy. Oh, and did I mention that my foster mom says I am the sweetest, most handsome Boxer ever???
