Hi everyone, my name is Ninja! I have been with my foster family for just a few weeks now. I am super sweet and pretty chill for a boxer. I lay around most of the day on whatever seems comfortable (couch, floor, box, laps). My mom wonders if Ill get some energy back when I am all better though. I still have a few hurdles ahead of me, Im heartworm positive and currently unaltered.
I love to cuddle with my mom! Im great with the little toddler they have running around here. He tries to be gentle but will roll on me and sit on me sometimes, but I dont mind at all and love the attention. He also gives me kisses and hugs!
Im pretty quiet too. I rarely bark or make any noise. When my fur-sister starts to bark, Ill occasionally jump in on the fun but not usually. Shes an older, smaller dog, and we get along great! We never fight or get angry with each other. Shes used to having girls around so I bet shes happy to have a hunk like me around these days. ;)
I came to my foster family pretty skinny, with my ribs showing. Ive since eaten quite a bit and have started to put on some weight. Ill let you know how much I weigh these days after my next check-up next week. They have me on a grain free no poultry diet right now because they think I might have a food allergy. Thats okay though, the Salmon and Sweet Potato food they have me on is DELISH!
My mom says I am house trained but not crate trained yet. They are working on it with me though. I usually just get free range of the house, if they are home or away, and they have a dog door for me so I use it when I need to go potty, and thats about it. After being outside for a while before I was fostered, this AC they have for me feels way too good to be spending my time outside.
Everyone who meets me says I am one cool dog! So calm when people come over and I havent jumped up on a single one of them. Mom and dad say I will make the best fur baby for whomever adopts me.
